In the winter of 2010, in a small town in the interior of Mallorca, Anna and Marina, two sisters who were separated in their youth, meet again to sell a bakery they have inherited from a mysterious woman whom they believe they do not know.
They are two women with very different lives. Anna has barely left the island and is still married to a man she no longer loves. Marina travels the world working as a volunteer for an NGO.
This novel is a story about female friendship, about kept secrets and forgotten bread recipes. But above all, it is the story of women who learn to decide, with freedom, about their future.
